I lost all my movies years ago, so I can't check, but I could have sworn there was a third Dr Phibes movie. Perhaps Vincent wasn't in it, or maybe it was a spinoff, IDK, but it was not that more recent than the first two. Is my memory simply toast? ;-)

Well, we can say unequivocally that there were only two Dr. Phibes films made. The first movie was The Abominable Dr. Phibes, and the second was Dr. Phibes Rises Again! Vincent Price starred in the title role for both. As for the imagined third Dr. Phibes film, there are many who believe that Theater Of Blood was the much anticipated (but never made) third Phibes film.
