On May 20th 2024 it will be 53 Years Ago that 'The Abominable Dr. Phibes' premiered at the Pacific Pantages Theater in Hollywood, CA on May 20th 1971. The now horror classic was treated to a nationally televised red-carpet event featuring the full cast from the film that starred Vincent Price as Dr. Anton Phibes, Joseph Cotten as Dr. Vasalias, Caroline Munro as Lady Victoria Phibes (uncredited), and introduced ingenue Virginia North as Dr. Phibes mute assistant Vulnavia.
